If you are into horse races (or maybe you have yet to visit one), then a luxurious introduction would be to the Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational Series, which takes place every year in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The event, which started in 2017, is so glamorous that A-listers made an appearance at the 2020 event last weekend: Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, and Vin Diesel were some of the glitterati that lit up the Pegasus World Cup.

One of the biggest, buzz-worthy aspects of the Pegasus World Cup was that horse owners were required to have their animals-horses ages 4 and up-compete free of any medications on race day. The President and Chairman of The Stronach Group, Belinda Stronach, wanted to create a more modern, sustainable and safer sport.

On a trendsetter note, if you are into fashion, then you would have enjoyed the “Runway on the Rail” style competition, where women competed for an $15,000 ring by Nini Hale. The second and third prizes were VIP passes to next year’s event and a $1,500 shopping spree sponsored by Neiman Marcus. This means you should prepare a year in advance for next year’s fashion competition. Extravagant hat, anyone?MORE FOR YOUSuspicious Fire At Home Of Women’s Rights Icon Susan B. To watch the races-including the $3 million purse- from the “best seat in the house,” the VIP Flamingo Room on the 3rd floor of the Gulfstream Park facility is a must-do. There was all you can eat buffet food, that ranged from steak, seafood, brussel sprouts, along with an open bar with premium alcohol. One of the best parts of attending the Pegasus World Cup is the many opportunities to see the celebrities walk the red carpet, as well as people watch for style inspiration.

Irad Ortiz is the jockey that won along with Mucho Gusto this year. Nelly & T-Pain were the performers at the end of this year’s event, however next year will welcome exciting artists of similar caliber.
