This year, the hottest Miami winter event, on Jan 28, will be presented by Baccarat and supported by several iconic names and brands in the realm of entertainment and hospitality to create the electric program that continues to draw Miamians, celebrities and race enthusiasts from around the world, setting Pegasus apart on the race circuit.
Gulfstream Park will play host to both the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational (GI) and the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Turf Invitational (GI). At the helm of race weekend is Belinda Stronach of The Stronach Group, a world-class technology, entertainment and real estate development company with thoroughbred horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering at the core.

1/ST has teamed up with Groot Hospitality’s LIV nightclub to bring a Miami-focused entertainment experience to thoroughbred horse racing’s hottest party with a trackside takeover of Gulfstream Park’s Carousel Club. LIV will curate the guest experience featuring the top-tier entertainment, celebrities, VIP hospitality, eclectic programming and post-race A-list performances. The highly anticipated headliner will be Kygo, known worldwide for his tropical house-style music sets.
Groot Hospitality restaurants Swan and Komodo will also pop up for Carousel Club, while the hospitality group’s newest hot spots Key Club and Gekko will delight guests in the VIP Flamingo Room with lavish food and beverage celebrations for an added luxury experience, delivering the finest in hospitality and entertainment with panoramic race day views.
