In the past ten years, Pegasus World Cup has quickly established itself as South Florida’s leading luxury sports and lifestyle event of the year. Nationally broadcast on NBC and distributed globally, Pegasus World Cup attracts A-list celebrity attendees, fashion icons, influencers, and avid fans to catch a glimpse of the sport’s most iconic event of the year.
Launched in 2017 as part of 1/ST’s mission to excite, energize, and modernize the sport of racing for a new generation of fans, the Pegasus World Cup provides lucrative opportunities for Thoroughbred owners and trainers.
The 2026 Pegasus World Cup race day set a $48.5 million record handle, surpassing the previous 2024 record of $47 million. In total, 164 horses competed in the 13-race card, including multiple graded stakes winners, international contenders, and championship-level runners. The event was broadcast nationally on NBC and Peacock, with full-day coverage on FanDuel TV and global distribution via HBA Media. The 2026 Pegasus World Cup reached audiences in more than 150 territories worldwide.
